Why the courses matter

- Sees the arrow and takes it. "The indicator said so."
- Uses the usual lot size. Never checks the stop distance against the account.

- Opens the calendar first: inflation data in ten minutes. Gold can jump either way.
- Checks the stop distance: at 1% risk, the position would be tiny.
- Decides to skip, and to look again once the news has passed.
