Getting started
What do I need?
MetaTrader 5 on a laptop or PC, and an MT5 account that can trade the instrument: XAU/USD for Miner and Digger, Volatility 100 or Dynamic 100 for Scout.
Does it work on the MT5 phone app?
No. The indicator needs MT5 on a laptop or PC, and that's where its alerts appear. There are no phone notifications, so keep MT5 open on your computer while you trade.
Which indicator should I start with?
Gold and limited time: Digger. Gold and a focused session: Miner. Volatility 100 or Dynamic 100: Scout. Still unsure? Email us.
I'm new to trading. Is this for me?
It can be, if you use it to build good habits. Start on a demo account, learn about risk and position sizing, and treat every setup as something to judge, not follow.
Licences and billing
What's the difference between lifetime and 30 days?
Lifetime is a once-off payment and never expires: R4,000 (Scout R2,500). 30 days runs for 30 days from purchase: R2,000 (Scout R1,000). After that you buy again to keep using it.
How long until I can use it?
We set the indicator up for your MT5 account number, with your licence period built in, and email it to you with an installation guide and our tips and tricks within 12 hours of your payment reflecting. You pay by EFT for now: instant payments usually reflect straight away, an ordinary EFT can take up to two working days.
Do you need my MT5 password?
Never. Only your account number. If anyone asks for your password on our behalf, it isn't us.
Can I move my licence to another MT5 account?
Yes. Each indicator only runs on the MT5 account it's built for, so email us and we'll move it to your new account.
Does one Scout licence cover V100 and D100?
No. Each Scout licence covers one instrument.
What's your refund policy?
Please read our refund policy before you buy. If you're unsure which indicator fits, email us first.
Using the indicators
Does it place trades for me?
No. It isn't a robot or an expert advisor. It marks potential setups. You decide, place and manage every trade.
How do alerts work?
When the indicator marks a new setup, MT5 raises an alert on your computer. MT5 needs to stay open with the indicator on the chart. Alerts are desktop only; there are no phone notifications.
Can I use it on other symbols or timeframes?
No. Each indicator is built for specific instruments and timeframes and won't run on others.
Do I have to use the stop loss and targets shown?
They're reference levels. Many traders adjust them to their own read and plan. Always size your trade to the stop you actually use.
What does the stats panel show?
The last 50 setups the indicator plotted, and how many hit the stop or reached TP1, TP2 or TP3. It's not an account result and excludes spreads, slippage and costs.
Trading and risk
Will I make money?
We can't say, and no honest seller can. Trading is risky and most retail traders lose money. Results depend on your decisions, risk management and the market.
Is this a signal service?
No. We sell analytical software that runs on your own chart. We don't tell anyone which trades to take, and nothing here is financial advice.
How much should I risk per trade?
That's your decision, and we can't advise you personally. As general education, many traders risk a small fixed percentage, often 1% or less, so that a run of losses doesn't end their account.
Still deciding?
Tell us what you trade and how much time you have. We'll point you to the right indicator.
